It's not officially here yet, but here are some of my favorite things about fall.
Electric blankets
Hot Apple Cider
INDIAN CORN!!!!!
That "clean apartment glow" after major fall cleaning.

You will notice that "carmel and apples" did not make my "fall favorites" list, that is because for me, carmel is a year-round event. If I had to choose between carmel and chocolate and would never be allowed to have the other again for the rest of my life, I would choose carmel.
