And Suddenly, I Belong...
Today the girl next door came over to see if I had a couple garbage bags she could use to clean up the garbage strewn across her yard by our neighborhoods four-legged thugs. As a frequent victim of their shenanigans, I was more than happy to help out, as well as send off a bag of clothing I'm discarding, because she looks like she's about my size. While I was sitting outside with a lap full of bright plastic beads the ten week old neighbor puppy wandered by to sniff out my patio, her young guardian in close attendance. And just like that, I'm a neighbor.
