In the trenches...

I tried to be nice, I tried to use natural methods, I used the ultrasonic thingies, I did not want to resort to chemical warfare, but two sightings of my resident dark chocolate loving, shoelace destroying, kitchen counter pooping mouse in the past few days have put me in a position for justifiable use of deadly force. So I put out poison packs, dreading the inevitable result, but much more afraid of being over run by rodents. Tonight, breaking news from MNN (mouse news network)

"A recent outbreak of rodent food poisoning in the Cookeville area has prompted the MCDC (mouse center for disease control) to issue the following warning: Be on the lookout for white packages with red and black lettering containing blue-green food pellets. If you see any packages fitting this description, do not attempt to destroy on your own, they may contain a combination of deadly chemicals, contact local authorities immediately. The Department of Mouse Homeland Security has raised the threat level to red."
