Not Exactly "Dog"...
I'm leaving for work yesterday, and see this guy walking toward me, calling to get my attention. I wasn't late for work yet, but I sure didn't have time for whatever he was selling. My mind raced to find the quickest excuse to get out of there. "I'm looking for a guy who lives down the road." He said, now close enough I could read the name of a bail bond company on his tee-shirt. I didn't know the guy he was looking for, not even after looking carefully at mug shots from the Sheriff's department. I could see his partner across the neighbor's yard. They both looked like respectable guys, the kind of guys who live in normal looking houses, and do ordinary things on the weekend. At that point I realized I was not talking to a satellite television service salesman, or whatever, it was no surprise, when he turned to go, to see "Fugitive Recovery Agent" on the back of his shirt, just above a pair of handcuffs. This guy was a bounty hunter.
