I'm guessing "Blackened Vegetable Soup" will never catch on...

.... otherwise known as "the reason I should not be trusted to operate a stove and a computer at the same time".

Chicken Broth
Green Beans, cut into bite size lengths
Carrots, cut into whatever shape you prefer
Red Potatoes, diced
Beets, 1 can shoestring style
Sour Cream

Heat Chicken Broth in pan on stove, add Green Beans, Carrots, and Red Potatoes. Leave room and forget about pan on stove until Chicken Broth is reduced to a faint residue on the sides of the pan. Vegetables should be turning black on the bottom and starting to stick to the pan. Return to Kitchen, verbally berate yourself while attempting to salvage the soup with more Chicken Broth. Add Beets to disguise black bits floating in the pan, do not leave kitchen until Beets are heated through. Remove from stove, pour into serving dish, add Sour Cream.

Serves: Anyone who is not freaked out by eating soup with black bits floating in it.
